We are looking for an enthusiastic Auctioneer to join our team at Accrington Central Car Auctions.

Full time: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8.30am - 6pm and Tuesday & Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm
About the role:
Our Auctioneers drive the energy, competition and results in our auction halls. They aren’t just there to call bids; they create momentum, engage buyers, and deliver outcomes that keep vendors and buyers coming back.
We’re looking for a proven auctioneer with strong used-vehicle experience and the confidence to command the rostrum. Previous experience as an auctioneer in vehicle auctions is essential, as well as a strong knowledge of used vehicle remarketing and the dynamics of the market.
The ideal candidate will be confident and engaging, with the ability to drive the pace of sales. They must also be prepared to travel across the UK and be flexible to work across multiple sites. We’re looking for someone who is resilient, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure, as well as passionate about the automotive industry and motivated to deliver results.
Day-to-day duties:
- Lead physical and digital sales from the rostrum across multiple sites.
- Bring energy and authority to the auction hall, driving competitive bidding.
- Build strong relationships with both buyers and sellers, ensuring confidence in the process.
- Support remarketing strategy and help deliver consistently strong results across the group.
- Work with operational and vendor teams to prepare vehicles and sale catalogues.
