Location
This is a hybrid role, with your time spread between your home and Head Offices in Hillington or Kilbirnie Street, Glasgow.
Hours
Full time: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, refining and overseeing low-code solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate. While you will have autonomy in the crafting processes, collaborating with senior stakeholders is essential to ensure your solutions align with the business objectives. The solutions you create will generally be of moderate complexity, occasionally requiring more intricate integrations.
Skills and Day-to-day activities
- Systems integration and build: Designing, developing, and integrating low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Business situation analysis: Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional applications.
- Application support: Providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancing Power Platform solutions.
- Data engineering: Developing data sources through SharePoint and Dataverse to support Power Platform solutions.
- Knowledge management: Documenting the design, development, and deployment processes for future reference.
- Learning delivery: Educating end-users in the effective use of Power Platform solutions.
- User experience analysis: Ensuring that Power Platform solutions meet user experience requirements.
- Innovation management: Staying up to date with developments in the Microsoft Power Platform and integrating new features.
Essential knowledge and experience
- Proficient in using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Experience of Microsoft 365 suite of Products including SharePoint and Teams.
- Good communicator, both written and verbal.
- Team player motivated to see things through to resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
