About This Role

We’re looking to recruit an Administrator to work at Central Car Auctions in Baillieston, Glasgow.

Hours

Full time: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8.30am – 6pm and Tuesday & Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm

About The Role

Our Administrator will manage the day-to-day processing of paperwork and payments for the auction along with dealing with customers both face‑to‑face and on the telephone. You will provide clerical support in a fast-moving environment ensuring vehicles are booked into stock accurately and all documentation is checked thoroughly.

Day-to-day Duties

  • Data entry – booking vehicles into stock accurately
  • Payments
  • Serve customers both face‑to‑face at the counter and on the telephone
  • Prepare and match up all vehicle documentation
  • Deal with any queries via email or telephone
  • Filing
  • Update reports
  • Engage with all departments to meet auction schedule
  • General administration duties as and when required

Essential Skills

  • A high level of accuracy and ability to multi‑task
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer literate with good grasp of Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Enjoy working with the public, both face‑to‑face and on the telephone
  • The confidence to work independently and also as part of a big team
  • Well‑organised with the ability to ensure all deadlines and tasks are completed
