ARNE is a UK-based apparel and footwear brand based in Birchwood Park, near Warrington. We design and develop all our products in the UK, working with trusted manufacturing partners across both the near and far east. All our products are available directly to customers through ARNEclo.com, offering a seamless online shopping experience. We're also proud to be stocked in Selfridges, both in-store and online, and we've recently opened our first permanent retail store at Liverpool ONE - a huge milestone for the brand. Looking ahead, we have ambitious goals for the next decade, and the team firmly believes they're all achievable.
As our teams continue to grow, we are looking for a Graphic Designer who will play a key role in supporting ARNE's strategy. This individual will work closely with the Marketing, Brand, and Creative teams to develop our visual identity, ensuring consistency across all channels. The role will also involve supporting the Creative Lead in bringing new creative concepts to life, helping the brand evolve while staying true to its core identity.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Work alongside the internal marketing and content teams to deliver cohesive, on‑brand creative across all digital and print marketing outputs.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of ARNE's visual identity, applying the brand playbook and style guidelines consistently across all projects.
- Act as a brand guardian, championing ARNE's look and feel across the wider business.
- Maintain exceptional quality control, ensuring consistency and attention to detail across all design outputs.
- Design 2D graphic elements and typography for social‑first and video‑led content.
- Interpret and respond to creative briefs with precision, delivering work to the highest standard.
- Ensure all assets align with brand guidelines and reflect the ARNE aesthetic.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop innovative, creative concepts for campaigns and launches.
- Conduct research and competitor analysis to identify relevant themes, trends, and creative opportunities.
- Support the wider team with ad hoc design tasks as required.
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in the fashion industry.
- Strong previous experience working as a Graphic Designer, ideally within the retail sector.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- Experience in animation, with knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro desirable but not essential.
- Strong graphic design skills, with a solid understanding of branding, layout, colour theory, and typography across both print and digital media.
- Ability to understand and apply brand guidelines effectively.
- Creative flair with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Highly computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
