ARNE is a UK-based apparel and footwear brand based in Birchwood Park, near Warrington.
We design and develop all our products in the UK, working with trusted manufacturing partners across both the near and far east.
All our products are available directly to customers through ARNEclo. com, offering a seamless online shopping experience.
We're also proud to be stocked in Selfridges, both in-store and online, and we've recently opened our first permanent retail store at Liverpool ONE - a huge milestone for the brand.
Looking ahead, we have ambitious goals for the next decade, and the team firmly believes they're all achievable.
From launching new product categories and expanding internationally to investing in paid media, CRM, and growing our retail presence — the next chapter for ARNE is shaping up to be an exciting one.
And this is only the beginning!
We've come a long way from starting out in Mum's bungalow back in 2018 to our all-new, fully bespoke HQ.
This space will be our home for at least the next 5-10 years, and while it's not quite our style to shout too loudly, it's here that we plan to reach our goals, take ARNE global, and further establish ourselves as a truly iconic UK brand.
We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join ARNE and help shape the digital experience for our customers.
You'll be responsible for building and optimising customer-facing features across our website and app, with a focus on driving conversion, improving user experience and supporting our ambitious growth plans.

- Troubleshoot and resolve front end bugs and issues
- Collaborate with our dev agency on larger scope work, picking up handover where needed
- Contribute to platform strategy discussions (e. g. theme development, headless considerations)
Requirements
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS/SCSS and Java Script, with the ability to build high-quality, performant user experiences
- Proven experience working with Shopify, including Liquid and theme development. Experience with Shopify Plus is highly advantageous
- Previous experience within fashion, retail or ecommerce environments would be beneficial, but is not essential
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development best practices
- Experience using Git and working within modern development workflows and collaborative environments
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a passion for delivering pixel-perfect experiences that maintain the integrity of the ARNE brand
- Comfortable collaborating closely with designers, ecommerce teams and non-technical stakeholders to bring ideas to life and continuously improve the customer experience
- A proactive problem solver who takes ownership of work and is always looking for opportunities to optimise performance, usability and conversion

How to prepare for a job interview at Arne
✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills
For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.
✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks
