About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Army Benevolent Fund in a leadership role, shaping and growing community fundraising and engagement activity with audiences, including the Army family, across the UK. We are seeking an experienced community fundraising professional with a strong track record of delivering income growth, developing successful fundraising initiatives, and providing expert guidance that enables others to achieve fundraising results across teams and regions.
As Assistant Director of Community Fundraising & Engagement, you will provide hands-on dynamic and strategic leadership and fundraising expertise to our regional structure, working closely with regional directors to strengthen fundraising activity, build capability and maximise opportunities for growth. A key aspect of the role will be supporting the effective delivery of national fundraising programmes and volunteer relationships within regions, ensuring a consistent approach while responding to local differences and opportunities.
What We Offer
- The salary is £69,852.00 per annum.
- After a probationary period of 6 months, the successful candidate will benefit from the Charity’s full range of employment benefits including an income protection scheme and an employer contribution pension.
- There will also be opportunities to participate in key Charity events and activities with a TOIL scheme in place.
- This is a full-time post for 35 hours per week, on a permanent contract based at the Charity’s Office in London Victoria (The Charity currently operates a minimum of 2 days in the office).
