Play an essential role in one of the Army's most vital lines of communication. As a full-time Postal Delivery Worker, you'll:
- Work to safeguard and distribute Protectively Marked Material in the UK and overseas
- Keep morale high by getting mail to soldiers, sailors and aircrew so they can stay in touch with their friends and family
- Run your own Post Office using state-of-the-art IT systems to handle large amounts of cash and stock
- Be based at South Cerney in Gloucestershire with opportunities to be deployed worldwide
- Travel all over the world on exercise and operations wherever your skills are needed
- Gain your Level 2 modern Apprenticeship NVQ Level 2 Express Mail Services as well as the Defence Awarding Organisations Level 2, 3 and 5 Award in Postal & Courier Services
- Earn your category B Driving Licence
To qualify, you must be between 16 years & 6 months to 35 years & 6 months, have the required grades, and pass a basic fitness test.
From the start of your training, you'll earn £27,282 a year which will go up as you progress in your career.
