Apprenticeship Details

As one of the UK’s largest apprenticeship employer providers, we offer a range of trades and skills with over 200 roles. Your apprenticeship will be planned to fit around your military training. That means as well as becoming a soldier in the British Army, you will also be working towards a qualification valued by employers outside of the Army. You will earn a starting salary of around £26,334 during Basic Training which will rise as you progress throughout your career. You will also enjoy a range of other benefits, including:

Requirements

You should be:

  • Regular Army age: 16.6 – 35.6 years
  • Army Reserve age: New enlistments: 17.9 – 43 years, Ex-Regular: 17.9 – 52 years, Specialist (Soldier): 17.9 – 50 years
  • Minimum Fitness requirements:
  • Mid Thigh Pull 46kg
  • Medicine Ball Throw 2.9m
  • 2km run 11m 15s (11m30s for Junior Entry)
