About the Role
You will work closely with teachers to support students in and out of the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. The role includes:
- Supporting pupils with learning activities and classroom engagement
- Working with students with additional needs, including SEN
- Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and independence
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Helping students to achieve their individual learning goals
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and young people
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is patient, supportive and adaptable
- Has good literacy and numeracy skills
- Holds an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
Experience of supporting students with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
