A rare opportunity has become available for a qualified and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Armstrong’s Christchurch, working primarily across Peugeot and Leapmotor, with the opportunity to also work with Mercedes-Benz. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a range of leading automotive brands in a supportive, professional environment, with ongoing training and career development.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs, servicing, and maintenance on customer and dealership vehicles
- Complete all work efficiently, accurately, and to a consistently high standard
- Diagnose faults and undertake a broad range of mechanical repairs
- Deliver a high level of customer service
- Use workshop equipment and tools correctly and with care
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised workshop areas and equipment

What we’re looking for:
- A relevant automotive trade qualification
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant automotive experience – essential
- Previous European vehicle experience is highly regarded
- Strong diagnostic capabilities and broad repair skills
- A positive attitude and a collaborative, team-focused approach
- Full, clean New Zealand driver licence
- Currently based in New Zealand and available to start as soon as possible
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, generally worked between 8:00am and 5:00pm, with occasional rostered Saturdays.
