The Role
As a result of continued growth across our Financial Planning Service Line, we are now recruiting for a Financial Planning Assistant Supervisor to join our Newcastle office. The main purpose of this position is to provide first line administrative support to our Financial Planning Consultants and to be a team leader for a specified group of Financial Planning Assistants. The main elements of this role will include:
- Providing relevant documentation to the Financial Planning Consultants ahead of client meetings
- Ensuring accurate completion of compliance requirements
- Ensuring that the administrative requirements are complete for the client review processes
- Responding to client queries
- Conducting 1-1 meetings, quarterly review meetings and annual goal setting meetings with direct reports
- Providing general training and development to assigned team
The Candidate
In order to fulfil the responsibilities of the position, we would like candidates to be / have:
- Experience of working in an administrative capacity for an organisation in Financial Services
- Experience of supporting and working closely with a Financial Advisor
- Either already achieved or be willing to work towards completing a Certificate in Financial Planning qualification
- Extensive administrative and customer service experience
- Organised and comfortable with managing diaries / scheduling appointments
- Excellent communication skills (in both written and verbal forms) and a passion for delivering exemplary service to clients
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- A dedicated team player, and willing to assist colleagues in the team where possible
- Able to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and use initiative to solve problems
- General IT skills
- A Full UK Driving Licence (desirable not essential requirement)
