The Role

We are looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Executive to join our team in either Leeds, Newcastle or Carlisle. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and motivated person to maximise their career potential within our Corporate Finance team. The Armstrong Watson Corporate Finance team includes 5 Partners, significant deal flow and a wide variety of projects.

The main elements of this role will include:

  • Working directly for a team of Assistant Managers and Managers across the Corporate Finance team
  • Ensuring full implementation of all client work projects aligns with both AW and FCA expected standards and procedures
  • Working alongside the existing team on a variety of exciting transactions including MBOs, Disposals, Acquisitions, Private Equity fundraising, Debt fundraising, company valuations and other strategic advice
  • Providing specialist input and direction into projects, formulating and providing advice to clients
  • Managing and playing an active role in ensuring a first-class service is provided to our clients
  • Being at the heart of our business advisory offering as well as supporting the Corporate Finance Partners and interacting with our clients directly

The Candidate

In order to fulfil the responsibilities of the position, we would like candidates to be / have:

  • Newly qualified (ACA/ ACCA) or have up to 2 years PQE A professional qualification (Accounting or Corporate Finance)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and have an eye for detail
  • Motivated and determined to help our clients and provide an exemplary service on all set assignments
  • A confident character and keen to develop your career in Corporate Finance
