You will receive support over a 3-year period to gain the AAT or ATT qualification and build a solid foundation for a career in accountancy. You can join either our Business Services Team—preparing accounts, bookkeeping, or VAT returns—or the Tax Compliance Team—preparing tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, and assisting with tax planning projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accounts and bookkeeping entries for clients.
  • Create VAT returns.
  • Prepare tax returns and calculate tax liabilities.
  • Assist with tax planning projects as part of the wider tax team.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 GCSEs at Grade 5 (C) or above, including Maths, English, and at least one Science, or a minimum of 6 National Fives at Grade C or above.
  • Minimum of 96 UCAS Points at A Level, Scottish Highers, or BTEC Level 3 or above.
  • At least 18 years old by 31 August 2026.
  • Degree holder or expected graduate in 2026; eligible for graduate Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Adviser positions.
