The Role

We are looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager to join our Leeds office. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated person to maximise their career potential within our Corporate Finance team. The Armstrong Watson Corporate Finance team includes 5 Partners, significant deal flow, and a wide variety of corporate finance projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of Assistant Managers and Executives across the Corporate Finance team
  • Ensuring full implementation of all client work projects in line with both AW and FCA expected standards and procedures
  • Working alongside the existing team on a variety of exciting transactions including MBO’s, Disposals, Acquisitions, Private Equity fundraising, Debt fundraising, company valuations and other strategic advice
  • Providing specialist input and direction into projects, formulating and providing advice to clients
  • Managing and playing an active role in ensuring a first class service is provided to our clients
  • Being at the heart of our business advisory offering as well as supporting the Corporate Finance Partners and interacting with our clients directly

The Candidate

In order to fulfil the responsibilities of the position, we would like candidates to be / have:

  • Previous Corporate Finance experience
  • Experience of managing junior team members
  • A professional qualification (accounting or corporate finance)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and an eye for detail
  • Motivated and determined to help our clients and provide an exemplary service on all set assignments
  • A confident character and keen to develop your career in Corporate Finance
