The Role

As a result of client wins and growth we are now recruiting for a qualified Audit & Assurance Senior to join our team in Leeds. The main purpose of the role will be to complete Audit & Accountancy based assignments for the clients of the firm and support the wider Audit & Assurance team with clients within their portfolios. The main elements of this role will include:

  • Planning, co-ordinating and completing audit assignments and accounts work
  • Liaising with those responsible for the preparation of accounts, providing them with the information required where we are liaising with the client on their behalf
  • Ensuring work is completed to meet external deadlines from client and regulatory authorities and internal deadlines
  • Ensuring full completion of audit or account files for the Managers review is done in an appropriate timescale and within budget
  • Identifying business issues relevant to the clients and ensuring those are brought to the attention of the appropriate Manager / Partner, or directly to the attention of the client
  • Identifying the needs of clients and actively developing business opportunities

The Candidate

In order to fulfil the responsibilities of the position, we would like candidates to be / have:

  • A Full UK Driving Licence
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • A team player and willing to assist colleagues in the team where possible
  • Able to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Able to use initiative and have great organisation / problem solving skills
