We are now recruiting for a Business Services Assistant Manager or Manager (depending on experience) to join our growing team in Kendal.
The Role
- Ensuring accounting assignments are conducted in accordance with Armstrong Watson procedures for their portfolio of clients.
- Being a main contact for clients and ensuring their queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Briefing Business Services Assistants / Seniors appropriately at the start of an assignment ensuring the job plan and budget are clearly understood and approved.
- Overseeing and providing technical support to Business Services Assistants / Seniors.
- Defining formal objectives for Business Services Assistants / Seniors.
- Managing your own portfolio and communicating with the relevant Business Services Partner to ensure internal and external deadlines are met.
The Candidate
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
- Either ICAS, ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Experience of working in an accounting capacity at an Accountancy practice.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- A dedicated team player, and willing to assist colleagues in the team where possible.
- Able to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Able to use initiative and have great organisation / problem solving skills.
- Keen to become part of a dynamic team.
