We are recruiting for an SVN role to join the team at Beech House Vet Centre. This is a full-time role which includes day release to study the Vetskill VTEC Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing via the apprenticeship route.
Candidates must have 5 GCSEs at C grade or above (grading system = 5+ grades) including maths, English and a science subject or have animal care qualifications and Level 2 functional skills in maths and English. They need to have a vehicle to allow for ease of transport between practices and for attendance at college. Previous experience of working within a veterinary practice would be a distinct advantage.
In return we offer fabulous support for our Student Nurses and the opportunity to become a well-rounded and experienced Nurse. This position is based on a 37.5 hour week working between the hours 8am - 8pm and including 1:4 Saturday and Sunday with toil taken for weekend hours, plus two Bank Holidays per year.
