We’re seeking an enthusiastic RVN ready to take on a varied and rewarding role within our dedicated hospital team. Rutland House is a busy, RCVS accredited first opinion and referral practice with a large team of vets and nurses at the main hospital. We also have 9 branches in the surrounding area. We have an amazing nursing team including ACA’s, SVN’s, RVN’s and Diploma holding RVN’s. We are currently looking for another outstanding RVN to join our wonderful team.
The Role
The role will rotate throughout the hospital spending time in wards, theatre (referral and 1st opinion), dermatology, medicine and dispensary/nurse clinics, looking after a varied case load to a very high standard.
Salary – dependent on experience
Rota
- 7-3pm / 10.30-6.30 on alternate weeks with a week of 2-10pm every 8 weeks (approx.)
- 1:5 Weekends, this is a Saturday OR Sunday
- NO OOH! We have a fantastic OOH team but there is availability to pick up additional paid shifts!
- BH’s min 1/year (double pay and day off in lieu)
Must have a passion to deliver a high standard of care to both clients and patients. The ideal candidate will enjoy a variety of nursing duties including patient care, nurse clinics, lab work and surgical nursing.
