We’re looking for a committed, full‑time Small Animal Veterinarian to join our skilled and friendly team at Head and Head Vets in Helston. The right candidate will carry out routine clinical care for a variety of small animals, operating on a 4‑day, full‑time schedule with no out‑of‑hours (OOH) commitments.
Working hours and schedule:
- Full‑time role over 4 days a week
- 1:4 Saturday morning appointments
- No OOH – evenings and weekends are truly yours

Head and Head Vets is a historic, RCVS‑accredited practice based in the market town of Helston, just minutes from Cornwall’s most beautiful coastline. The role offers the unique opportunity to live and work in a scenic coastal environment, with activities such as beach walks, hiking, surfing and local markets nearby. We also offer the option of a combined role, working between Head & Head Vets in Helston and our friends at nearby Regent Court Vets in Penzance.

We’re a close‑knit group of 2.5 Vets (FTE), 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 2 Senior Veterinary Nurses, all passionate about delivering high‑quality care and creating a supportive, upbeat environment.
