We are recruiting for a self‑motivated and well‑organised individual to join the team at our busy referral practice in Hartford.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling telephone enquiries from clients and referring veterinary practices
  • Arranging referrals, including diary management, liaison with clients, clinical record acquisition, detailing the referral process and handling questions
  • Liaising with our clinicians
  • Greeting clients at the practice
  • Insurance administration
  • Processing payments
  • Debt management
  • Typing of reports and minutes

Previous reception and/or administration experience is essential. We are looking for a caring and confident individual with good people skills and the ability to work well within a multi‑disciplinary team.

Working Hours:

Part‑time position (22.5 hours per week), with shifts between 8am and 8pm, including participation in a 1 in 5 Saturday rota. Ideally, hours will be worked over three days, although some flexibility with days/hours is available for the right candidate.
