Moloney Veterinary Clinics in Great Dunmow is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, award-winning 6-vet team on a 12-month maternity cover basis, anticipated to start in Autumn 2026. Our beautiful, rural, RCVS accredited practice prides itself on team happiness and high standards of patient care, fostering a supportive, family-like culture.

The Role

This is a general practice role suited to a capable all-rounder who enjoys variety. You will be:

  • Seeing a wide range of GP cases
  • Comfortable with routine consultations and surgery
  • Occasionally working in sole charge (with support always available from our other branch)
  • Working closely with a collaborative, experienced team

Salary up to £60,000 FTE depending on experience.

We Offer

  • Approx. 30 hours per week (part-time). We are flexible and happy to discuss what works for you.
  • Standard day: 9 am – 6:30/7 pm, with one earlier finish each week.
  • No out-of-hours or on-call.
  • Shared weekend rota: max 1 in 5 Saturday & Sunday mornings (clients only).
  • Excellent transport links to the A120, nearby M11, and London Stansted Airport just 6 minutes’ drive away.
