Willows Veterinary Centre Boldon Surgery – Small Animal – Full time – Permanent. We are looking for a confident vet to join the friendly team at Willows Veterinary Centre in the heart of the North East, convenient for both Sunderland and Newcastle. We are a two-site practice; this role will primarily be based at our newly refurbished small animal practice at Boldon, with some cover at our South Shields branch.
About the practice: Willows Veterinary Centre recently moved to a new, purpose-built hub at Boldon Business Park. The Boldon site has 4 consult rooms, 2 theatres, prep rooms, a dental and x-ray suite, and a quiet room. Modern diagnostics include digital radiography, ultrasonography, dental radiography, in-house laboratory, and laparoscopy spays. We create a cosy family environment to make clients and pets comfortable and happy.
About the role: We’re seeking a motivated and confident vet, competent in neutering/lumpectomies in cats, dogs, and small furries. Further development is actively encouraged, and you will be supported by an experienced team of 5 vets and 7 RVNs across both sites.
Working hours / Schedule: Full-time – ideally 37.5 hours over 4 days, between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm (part-time options would be considered). Saturdays – 1:4 rotation, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. No out-of-hours requirement.
Salary: Up to £65,000, dependent on experience (based on a 37.5-hour week).
