Their software engineering team builds the platform that plans, executes, monitors, and learns from every chemical campaign they run.

They're growing fast and building the next generation for industrial scale.

The Role

Im looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build and evolve the next generation of an automated chemistry platform.

You'll work in a tight-knit, cross-functional team spanning software, hardware, data, AI, and infrastructure shipping real features against real science, fast.

You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with scientists, hardware engineers, and AI researchers in the kind of environment where curiosity across disciplines is an asset, not a distraction.

You'll own features end-to-end, weigh in on architecture, and work directly alongside people doing things that have never been done before.

If you move fast, care about craft, and get energised by hard problems with real stakes, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex requirements into impactful features across our application suite in rapid, agile iterations.
  • Own the full feature lifecycle from scoping through development, deployment, and impact monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure to ensure new features are soundly architected and production-ready.
  • Champion testing best practices; author and maintain code and user-facing documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to communities of practice across the team.
  • Drive team-wide initiatives: code reviews, design discussions, process improvements, workstream planning.
  • What You'll Bring
  • Core
  • BSc or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of commercial full stack engineering experience.
  • Strong Python skills with production experience in Fast API, Django, Flask, or similar.
  • Postgre SQL fluency schema design, SQL, and ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy.
  • Proven commercial experience with Type Script, React, and a genuine interest in UI/UX.
  • Comfortable with containerised deployments (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab, Argo CD).
  • Hands-on with AWS or another major cloud platform.
  • Active user of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent) this is part of how we work.
  • High EQ: we're cross-functional by design, and everyone here is a natural collaborator.
  • Infrastructure & Deployment
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS comfortable deploying to and reasoning about containerised workloads in a managed K8s environment.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK or Terraform) is a strong plus.
  • Beneficial Skills
  • Interest in chemistry, life sciences, robotics, or manufacturing.
  • Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda).
  • Experience with product design thinking and tools such as Figma.
  • Experience with Orkes or other workflow engine would be beneficial.

This is a phenomenal career opportunity. Apply now for more info.
