We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing automation, improving platform reliability, and supporting internal teams and customers by delivering robust infrastructure and platform services.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms
- Lead the implementation and management of container platforms such as Kubernetes
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment and delivery
- Ensure platform security, resilience, performance, and high availability
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions across platform infrastructure
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform engineers and junior team members
- Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to improve platform performance and deployment processes
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices
- Support customer environments and assist with platform onboarding and migrations where required
Required experience:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments)
- Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancing, and DNS
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in DevOps or SRE environments
- Ability to mentor engineers and lead technical projects
