Amazing opportunity for someone with a strong Azure background to join one of the most exciting tech companies in Scotland. This role focuses on Azure architecture and hybrid connectivity, supporting platforms that integrate on-premise data-centre infrastructure with Microsoft Azure. The engineer will work closely with infrastructure, network and security teams to on-board into service existing Azure services.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
- Support hybrid environments integrating Azure with on-premise platforms
- Implement and operate Azure ExpressRoute connectivity
- Support identity, networking and security integration with Azure
- Provide technical input into platform designs and migrations
- Troubleshoot Azure platform, networking and connectivity issues
Required experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure architecture
- Experience implementing and supporting Azure ExpressRoute
- Good understanding of Azure networking, identity and core services
- Background in enterprise infrastructure (Wintel/Linux/VMware)
Desirable:
- Experience operating Azure within a managed services or hosting environment
- Familiarity with data-centre networking and firewalling (Fortinet preferred)
Please note that this is an office based role in Hamilton.
