We are recruiting two platform engineers to support and operate enterprise infrastructure within a managed hosting and data-centre environment. These roles suit engineers with solid, hands-on experience across compute, virtualisation, storage and networking, who are comfortable working within operational processes and shared service models.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate and support Wintel OR Linux platforms in a hosted / managed services environment
  • Build, maintain and troubleshoot VMware-based virtual infrastructure
  • Support general storage platforms and data-centre networking
  • Work alongside network and security teams to support firewalling and connectivity
  • Participate in incident, problem and change management processes
  • Support onboarding and adoption of customer infrastructure into service
  • Contribute to documentation, runbooks and operational standards

Required experience

  • Experience working in a data centre or managed service provider environment
  • Strong Wintel OR Linux administration experience
  • Solid VMware experience (build, operate, troubleshoot)
  • General understanding of enterprise storage and networking concepts
  • Familiarity with firewalling concepts (Fortinet preferred)

Tooling and systems

  • Monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix and Grafana
  • Exposure to ManageEngine tooling (PAM, vulnerability management or service management)

Desirable

  • Exposure to Fortinet firewalls
  • Experience supporting customer-owned infrastructure in shared environments
