We are looking for someone to join our Data Centre Engineering team to complete statutory and non-statutory maintenance to electrical systems including air con / cooling systems. The individual will have a keen eye for detail and a pro-active attitude towards their duties. They will have good communication skills, be able to work as part of a team as well as manage their own workload and time management.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete statutory and non-statutory maintenance of critical electrical assets
- Respond to issues in an efficient manner to maintain business SLA’s
- Complete and document fault finding as part of root cause analysis
- Report and track issues via the appropriate management tool
- Keep management and other departments up to date at all times
- Promote and adhere to health and safety requirements
- Assist Operations and Security Staff as required
We are looking for
- 18th Edition HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Previous experience of working in a Facilities organisation within a critical environment
- Knowledge of High Voltage systems
- Knowledge of statutory maintenance legislation
- Requirements for Electrical Installations
- Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing
- Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification
- Refrigeration and Air-conditioning
- Heating and Ventilating
