Due to significant client wins and expansion, the firm is now seeking an ambitious Accountant to join their client Accounting team. In working with this business you will enjoy a hybrid flexible environment, clearly defined career progression, regular pay reviews and some truly amazing trips and team outings!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Working closely with a diverse and interesting portfolio of clients
- Corporate and personal tax return preparation
- Bookkeeping, preparation and review of VAT returns
- Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
- Dealing with client queries
- Supervising the junior members of staff and assisting with ongoing training
As a suitable candidate for this role you will be:
- 4-5 years of Accountant Practice experience
- Experience with a variety of accountancy software (IRIS, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, VT)
