Armstrong Knight are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a dynamic and highly entrepreneurial business which has exciting growth plans both nationally and internationally.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Payroll Management
  • Processing fortnightly and monthly payroll using Sage payroll
  • Filing statutory payroll returns
  • Dealing with payroll related matters and statutory compliances
  • Processing company stores weekly sales
  • Ensuring timely invoices and credit notes are raised to all customers
  • Calculation of franchise fees
  • Issuing monthly statements to customers
  • Preparation of aged debt report
  • Updating and maintaining customer records
  • Cash book and nominal entries
  • Posting and allocation of receipts and payments
  • Daily bank reconciliations of all company bank accounts
  • Posting of revenue accruals and deferrals
  • Investigating and resolving queries from franchisees regarding royalty and marketing fees
  • Assisting with payroll processing
  • Assisting internal audit and compliance team
  • Undertake any reasonable task on the request of the accounts team

Skills & System knowledge:

  • Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel)
  • Sage Payroll Experience Essential
  • Knowledge of foreign currency conversions and postings
  • AAT studier with ambition to continue studies, minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Team player & ability to communicate with all levels
