Our client is now seeking an ambitious and career-driven Senior Accountant or Manager to transition into a Partner Status role as part of the succession planning to replace the current partner who is exiting due to impending retirement from the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the strategic planning and delivery of business services
- Ensure the high-quality delivery of accounting compliance, corporation tax, personal tax, management reporting and advisory services.
- Meet with clients to review final accounts, and assist and advise with business strategy and planning
- Management and growth of a portfolio of strategic and high net-worth clients.
- Development and growth of new clients and opportunities.
- Oversee and support projects as necessary.
- Department management and staff development ensuring employee performance and delivery.
- Support and develop the existing team of Semi Seniors/ Juniors
- Recruit additional team members in line with business growth, conducting interviews as required.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years practice experience
- Demonstrable history of career progression in an accountancy practice.
- A proven track record of developing new and profitable revenue streams.
- Technically proficient in all areas of accountancy, audit and taxation.
- An entrepreneurial attitude to identifying and exploiting business opportunities.
- An experienced Team Leader who leads by example and inspires others.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex accountancy principles to non-accountancy audiences.
