The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

To ensure that the Finance tasks are completed to a high standard. To work closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director in establishing a best in class finance function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for monthly financial accounting
  • Preparing month end pack which includes:
  • Management Accounts
  • Board Report
  • Analysis of business performance
  • Leading year end audit process
  • Regulatory reporting including PSD and MLAR returns
  • Production of daily bank covenant reporting
  • Managing day to day treasury operations
  • Preparation and submission of tax returns
  • Ad-hoc project work to support business strategy
  • Supervision of Accounts Assistant
  • Experience and qualifications:

    • An ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified accountant, or newly qualified.
    • Financial Services experience (particularly lending company experience) desirable
    • Minimum 3 years previous experience in a finance role
    • Proficiency in MS Excel
    • Knowledge of an accounting software package
    • Technically proficient
    • High attention to detail
    • Numerical
    • Adaptable (able to converse with different levels of the business)
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
