We are working with a well established and vibrant business management and accountancy firm in the London area. They are looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual to join their dynamic team to undertake day-to-day support for their portfolio of clients within the media industry. This is an exciting role within a modern and progressive company that invests in its staff.
Responsibilities
- Undertake day-to-day bookkeeping and business management for a portfolio of clients.
- Process sales invoices, receipts and payments.
- Complete and file client VAT Returns and EC sales lists.
- Liaise directly with clients and suppliers on queries to ensure timely completion and a professional manner.
- Provide credit control services for the client portfolio.
- Prepare client cash flow reports and forecasting.
- Deal with financial paperwork and respond to HMRC queries.
- Direct client-facing role requiring a confident and professional approach to client servicing.
Experience and Knowledge
- Knowledge of Payroll and Pensions; liaising with clients on changes needed on a monthly basis.
- Previous experience with software packages including Xero is a bonus.
- AAT qualification and/or suitable/relevant bookkeeping/business management experience.
- Knowledge of VAT rules, Accounts, Tax and Payroll desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
- Self-motivated with initiative and able to work as part of a team.
- Confident approach to client communications.
