Armstrong Knight are very proud to be working with a well-established, local 5 Partner accountancy practice who are currently looking for an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior to join their growing firm. The company have a reputable presence with an extensive, loyal client base which plays an important part of their business. Their client portfolio includes industries including manufacturing, retail, property, also providing audit services for Non-Profit Organisations, Social Enterprises, Charities, Solicitors and FCA client money laundering reporting.
This role has become available due to the growth of the business, and they are offering a competitive salary, career progression opportunities and much more!
This would be a mixed role with Audit and Accounts work, assisted by 2 trainees during bigger Audit assignments and reviewing work of 1 junior accountant regarding accounts preparation.
What skills and experience would I require?
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist), previous experience of working within a UK practice and hold excellent communication skills.
What would my duties include?
- Working to UK GAAP and IRFS regulations
- Be responsible for a portfolio of clients, leading audits for clients
- Preparing Year End Statutory Accounts from start to finish
- Developing client relationships
- Preparation of company and personal tax computations
