We are currently working with a well respected Accountancy practice based near Harrow, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accountant for a Semi Senior Accountant position. They are looking for a self-motivated and ambitious individual to join their friendly team.
Your duties will be but may not be limited to:
- Preparation of accounts for Limited Companies, Sole traders and Partnerships.
- Book-keeping to trial balance.
- Dealing with correspondence from clients and HMRC.
- Completing and submitting VAT Returns.
- Collating company tax information.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need:
- ACCA / AAT Part-Qualified preferable but will consider others.
- Have 3 years+ experience within a practice environment.
- Have an up to date understanding of UK regulations.
- To be competent in MS Office; Word and Excel, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero.
- Working knowledge of CCH Central an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work at speed under your own initiative.
