- Employee Relations: Navigate ER cases with expertise—manage absences, performance, discipline, and grievances, attending hearings as an advisor and note-taker.
- HR Consultancy: Provide strategic advice and support to line managers on all HR matters, from policies to performance management.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process—advertise roles, conduct interviews, and handle pre-employment checks with finesse.
- Compliance Champion: Ensure all employee checks, including DBS and Right to Work, meet legal standards.
- Probation Oversight: Guide managers through the probationary process, ensuring smooth transitions.
- HRIS Management: Maintain impeccable employee records on the HRIS (Cascade).
- Sickness & Absence: Manage sickness cases, including Occupational Health referrals.
About You
- Qualifications: CIPD Level 5.
- Skills: Stellar communication, strong organizational prowess, and tech-savvy with MS Office and HRIS.
- Desirable: Experience in the waste industry, TUPE transfers, and working with Trade Unions.
