An established and highly respected engineering and manufacturing business is seeking to recruit an experienced Compliance Manager to join its growing operation in Essex. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and developing company-wide compliance systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, certifications and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and maintain compliance across quality, environmental, health & safety and operational procedures
- Manage and maintain ISO standards and associated audits
- Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance across manufacturing and operational activities
- Liaise with internal departments regarding compliance processes & improvements
- Assist with risk assessments, documentation & policy development
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
- Coordinate external audits & certification processes
- Maintain accurate compliance records & reporting documentation
- Previous experience within a Compliance, Quality or Regulatory role
- Experience working within engineering, manufacturing, electronics or technical environments would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of ISO standards & auditing processes
- Strong organisational & communication skills
- A proactive & hands-on approach
- Ability to work cross-functionally within a technical business environment
