Armstrong Knight is working exclusively with a fast-growing, highly entrepreneurial property investment and development group based in the City of London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) to join a multi-faceted property business operating across investment, development and student housing, with exposure to a large and diverse portfolio of companies.

The role offers real responsibility, commercial involvement and genuine long-term progression within a business that continues to scale rapidly.

The Role

You will take a hands-on position within the finance team, responsible for statutory and management accounts across a large group structure, while supporting the wider business with reporting, compliance and forecasting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of statutory and management accounts across a multi-company portfolio
  • Quarterly consolidations with commentary
  • VAT returns including partial exemption calculations
  • Corporation tax review and support with tax planning
  • Preparation of audit files and liaison with auditors
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Bank covenant compliance and payment authorisations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Financial reporting for rental and investment properties

You will be working closely with senior finance leadership and operational teams, gaining broad commercial exposure.

The Ideal Candidate

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Strong statutory and management accounts experience
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-moving environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Confident communicating across finance and non-finance teams
  • Detail-focused with a commercial mindset

Property or group company experience is beneficial but not essential.
