As the Assistant Accountant you will work closely with the Finance Managers, other bookkeepers and members of other teams within this diverse group of companies.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Posting entries, payments and rents
- Journal postings as required and recharge invoices
- Bank reconciliations on daily basis
- Loan reconciliations
- Postings for Groups Pension Scheme
- Rental payment runs and ad hoc payments
- Postings and payments for rental company
- Credit cards processing
- Daily bank balances report (after have access to bank accounts)
- Preparation of monthly VAT returns
- Inter company matrix reconciliations (monthly) and sent out (in due course)
- Trade creditors reports for all rental companies
- Check list of bank reconciliations
Candidate profile:
- AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Have some property sector experience
- Be hands on, detail orientated
