The chosen candidate will be joining an experienced Cornwall based accountancy firm that focuses on providing bespoke accountancy, business and financial advice for each of their clients. With a client base ranging from long-established PLCs, start-up businesses and sole traders, the ideal Senior Accountant will be employed to manage both a substantial client portfolio as well as a growing team of qualified and part qualified accountants.
In this accountancy firm, the Senior Accountant will carry out a wide range of general accounting duties, including:
- Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, LLPs and Charities
- Reviewing the work of more junior members of the team
- Liaising directly with clients
- Tax computations
- Assisting in the planning and management of the workflow
- Exciting ad-hoc duties including budgeting & forecasting and due diligence
Reporting directly to, and working alongside the Senior Partners, the successful candidate will have several years’ experience within a general accountancy public practice. They will be ACA/ACCA part or fully qualified with outstanding technical and organisational skills, whilst also retaining the ability to lead by example.
