As the sales manager you will play a vital role that is directly responsible for the performance of the teams and sales outcomes, striving to increase the company’s profit margins through sales by motivating, and inventing new sales tactics. Creating and developing business plans and strategies in order to expand the customer and candidate base to maximise additional income for the company. You will be responsible for ensuring that effective methods are put into place so that the company achieves its maximum productivity.
You will be expected to harness a working environment which encourages teamwork, energy and creativity. To achieve this, you should have strong leadership and motivational skills along with good communication skills to ensure all customer and employee issues are addressed effectively.
You will work closely with the Compliance Manager, Operations Manager, HR Manager, IT Manager, Accounts Teams, Business Development Manager and the Managing Director to improve the working environment and business processes of the company. The aim is to strengthen and deliver the margin to ensure the successful continuance of business operations.
The main responsibilities include the following functions:
- Achievement of Margin Targets
- Development of Key Performance Indicators
- Business Planning & Strategy
- Team performance management, staff absences, internal recruitment
- Customer Service strategy and communication to the team
- Developing successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ongoing Evaluation implementation and improvement of services and policies
