The Role
- Financial statements and tax computations for clients.
- Providing strategic consultancy and financial management services.
- Supervise a team of Accountants on the portfolio of all clients.
- Manage the Tax, VAT and payroll departments to ensure timeframes and HMRC deadlines are being adhered to, along with the personal management of the relevant members of staff.
- Manage and develop the practice's use of Social Media for advertising and new client development.
- This is a strong relationship management role, working directly with the director to ensure the best client care and the smooth operation of the general office.
- For the right candidate, this role could lead to being invited to join the directorship in time.
- The directors are highly driven to make this practice the best it can be, but due to the pressure of building this practice, we have fallen behind in some areas, especially technology. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has a keen interest in increasing efficient ways of working.
- It is essential that you have had an existing career in practice and will ideally be ACCA or CTA qualified; however, applicants who are qualified by experience will also be considered.
