The firm has an enviable client base which is hugely varied and includes clients in sectors from tech start-ups, property investment companies, wholesalers, retailers, consultants, large group companies and non-listed PLCs. A unique opportunity has now arisen for a candidate who has an excellent knowledge of accounting and tax (direct and indirect) together with a high level of IT skills, to join the Senior Accounts team.
As an ACCA gold approved employer, our client provides CPD support with in-house, in work time courses and with regular reviews, coaching and mentoring to provide the framework and support structure for the right candidate to flourish.
Job role:
- Preparation of medium sized limited company accounts with turnovers in the range of £1m - £10m
- Preparation of industry specific accounts including: solicitors accounts and charities
- Providing detailed discussion notes for client meetings on accounting and tax related aspects
- Direct client involvement – working with the client to solve queries and provide recommendations.
- Management accounts preparation and cash flow projections
- Bespoke tax and accounting technical projects as they arise
Salary/Benefits:

Requirements:
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- 5+ years of Practice experience
- Knowledge of IRIS accounts production would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of Xero
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis techniques
- Comfortable with complex reconciliations such as CIS and VAT
- Some previous audit exposure would be beneficial
- Superb written and spoken English
- Must be highly enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Can work as part of a team or independently
