As the Assistant Accountant you will have a pivotal role within the finance department that will provide exposure into a plethora of interesting accountancy functions within the property sector. Reporting into the Finance Manager, a qualified and highly experienced Accountant you will receive in house coaching and development enabling you to quickly progress your career within the business.
Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Posting entries and reconciliations for Construction company.
- Raising invoices with supporting schedules as required.
- Support for other businesses including Property Rental companies and Hostels.
- Payment runs prepared accurately and on timely basis.
- Bank reconciliations on daily basis.
- Cash flow monitoring.
- Posting journals.
- Sales and purchase retentions.
- Assist with preparation of management accounts and year end accounts.
- CIS returns.
- VAT returns.
- Intercompany reconciliations.
- Filing.
Full study support for AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA will be provided. You will also receive a generous holiday allowance and benefits package, along with a clearly defined career progression plan.
