Accountancy Knight are delighted to be working with a very well-established Accountancy Practice based in EAST LONDON. Our client has 50 years of experience in providing exceptional Accountancy & Tax services to a wide range of clients located throughout the length and breadth of the country, from every business sector.
As the ideal candidate for this role you will ideally be newly qualified ACCA or ACA or someone who is in the final stage of their professional qualifications. Study Support and covering any Clawback on fees is available. A minimum of 4 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Previous experience in preparing Statutory Accounts and Tax returns for a variety of companies is essential.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
- Corporate Tax computations and returns.
- Assisting with the development of trainees, including reviewing work and providing feedback.
- Regularly liaising with clients on support services and to resolve queries.
- Adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.
Candidate Attributes:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment.
- Newly ACCA or ACA qualified or finalist level.
- Strong experience with a variety of accounting software packages including Iris, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
- Excellent communication skills and confident in dealing directly with a wide range of clients.
