Our client is a well established and respected accountancy firm based in the heart of Edinburgh. They now seek to recruit an experienced accountant to join their team managing a portfolio of diverse clients including limited companies, partnerships, trusts and sole traders.
Accounts Senior Duties
- Supervision of trainee accountants (ACCA)
- Preparation and supervision of statutory accounts preparation
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- VAT returns
- Preparation of financial forecasts
- Preparation of income and corporation tax computations and liaising with HMRC
- Supervision of the payroll function
Accounts Senior Requirements
- Recently qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience
- Proficient in the use of Sage & Excel
- A background gained working in a professional accountancy practice
- Ability to manage and motivate junior staff members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The practice are a training firm and will provide financial assistance towards completion of professional exams.
