Based in Aberdeen, the firm acts for a wide spectrum of clients across varied industries from smaller sole traders and contractor clients, through to wide-ranging OMBs and SMEs up to circa £5 million turnover, and also a smaller number of larger clients with turnovers up to around £20 million. The firm is making significant investment and planning for the future, so you will be joining at a key time in this team’s development and able to carve a pivotal role.
Job Description
You will join the firm as a Senior Accountant in a hands-on role, focusing on the sub-audit threshold, turnover accounts, corporation tax, bookkeeping, VAT, payrolls, self-assessment, and wide-ranging general practice service provision in a key position in the team. You will have the opportunity to gain increasing responsibility, client contact, technical skills (e.g., chance to assist on audit side and training offered if interested in developing skills in this area) and develop within the role and firm.
The Successful Applicant
You may be AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified, or suitably qualified by experience, with at least several years' experience gained within the accountancy practice sector as a Senior Accountant, preparing accounts and general practice services for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
