Armoury Films is on the lookout for a new Director’s Rep to join our busy, growing team to assist with all things new business. We are a London-based production company with a tight-knit family of award-winning directors and producers. Driven by a love for storytelling and a commitment to the craft of production, we place creativity at the heart of everything we do.

As our Director’s Rep, you’ll be at the forefront of Armoury’s new business, acting as a passionate advocate for our roster of award-winning directors and Armoury as a chosen production partner. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building genuine relationships and has a deep appreciation and love for creative filmmaking, art, and culture. Working closely with our MD, EP, and Producers, you will help shape our sales strategies, curate tailored director showcases, and proactively chase down new opportunities. Experience in the advertising industry and an existing network of contacts is highly beneficial for the role.

Armoury is a nurturing, fast-moving, and highly collaborative team, and we are looking for a confident, outgoing self-starter who isn't afraid to forge new connections and speak passionately about great work.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Proactive Outreach: Actively seeking out and securing meetings with creatives and producers - both at agencies and client in-house teams (via emails, mailers, and in-person meetings) to showcase our directors’ work and unlock opportunities.
  • Championing the Roster: Pitching and presenting our work with genuine knowledge, passion, and a confident understanding of how commercials are achieved technically and budget-wise.
  • Crafting Showcases: Building bespoke director reels and pitch materials tailored perfectly to agency and client briefs.
  • Being Present: Representing Armoury at industry events, screenings, panels, and award ceremonies (some evenings and overseas travel required!).
  • Marketing & PR Strategy: Working with the team to strategise new marketing ideas, assist with managing our social channels (Instagram/LinkedIn), and coordinate PR of new work in the likes of Little Black Book, David Reviews, Shots, etc - to ensure our new work gets the visibility it deserves.
  • Talent Development: Keeping an eye on culture and advertising trends, bringing a genuine excitement for discovering and developing new directing talent.
  • Sales Administration: Maintaining and updating our internal sales database and status sheet.
What you’ll bring
  • Industry Experience: You have a solid grasp of how advertising agencies and production companies operate, with an existing network of contacts to build upon. And ideally have 2–5 years of experience in the advertising or production industry.
  • The Right Vibe: A positive, conscientious, and approachable attitude. You are organised, have excellent written and verbal communication, hungry for success, are comfortable working independently, and are excited to be part of a growing, collaborative team.
  • An Instinct for Great Work: You love film, art, and advertising culture. You are genuinely excited about finding and developing directing talent to enhance our roster.
