Experienced Auto Electrician required to fit towbar electrics to cars, commercial and mainly Motorhomes. 7 Pin, twin electrics, 13pin, 13 pin full function with split charge relays, mainly using bypass relays and occasionally dedicated wiring looms, soldered joints and adhesive heat shrink crimp joints only, no scotchlocks. You should be able to do basic fault finding and repairs. Also be able to fit reversing cameras / sensors, solar panels, satellite systems, cars for A Frame towing. A good knowledge of removing vehicle trims without damage to access wiring etc. To be able to make up various lighting boards to be used on our motorbike, cycle carrier and mobility carriers. Wire up trailer lights and again fault find and repair. 40 hours a week; Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm (1 hour lunch). Overtime available during busy periods; mid-week and weekends paid at 1.5. 20 Day holiday plus bank holidays per year. Permanent position following a successful trial period. Paid weekly. Free parking. PPE provided. This is a fast paced challenging role, you will be working on a variety of vehicles. You must be EXPERIENCED to apply for this position & excellent attention to detail. Candidate must have a can-do attitude, & excellent time keeping. During quieter times the candidate will be expected to assist the fitters. Wages negotiable, depending on experience
