I am working exclusively with a highly regarded wealth management practice in Leeds to find an exceptional Team Leader, a newly created role at the heart of a growing, ambitious business that is building for the future. This is not a senior administrator with a leadership title attached. This is a genuine leadership opportunity for someone who is ready to own it.
The Role
You will be the single point of contact for the adviser, the person the whole team flows through. Managing and developing a team of four to five, owning the team inbox, allocating casework, attending client meetings to capture feedback and translating that directly into action. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, writing annual review letters and working with market leading AI technology as part of the process. The adviser trusts you completely — and you will take that responsibility seriously. Full time, office based in Leeds.
The Person
We are looking for someone who has genuinely led — not just supervised. Someone who has been tested, who has navigated difficult periods and who can speak honestly about what those experiences taught them. Beyond the technical skills we are looking for maturity, calm authority and the kind of person who makes a team around them better. If you have built your career in wealth management or financial planning — within an SJP practice, an IFA firm or a comparable environment — and you are ready to take a genuine leadership step, I would love to hear from you.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within wealth management or financial planning
- Strong understanding of the full client journey — from meeting preparation through to submission
- Experience within an SJP practice, IFA firm or comparable wealth management environment
- Someone who leads by example, takes ownership and brings standards with them
Salary expectations in line with a competitive package — up to £45,000 with flexibility for the right person.
