We are seeking a highly competent and self-motivated HGV Mechanic to join our operation on a part-time basis. Working with a mixed fleet of HGVs, 3.5t vans and cars, you will take responsibility for ensuring our vehicles remain safe, reliable and compliant.
- Carry out PMI inspections, scheduled servicing and reactive repairs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform bodywork repairs, fibreglass repairs and touch-up painting
- Complete small vehicle checks and repairs across the mixed fleet
- Undertake welding tasks and tyre re-cutting where required
- Present vehicles for MOT, ensuring all preparation is completed
- Confident working alone and managing your own workload
- Experience across HGV, light commercial and car fleets
- Must hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Reliable, proactive and committed to maintaining fleet quality
Part time – 3 days per week (ideal)
